This game has a new feel to it as compared to the last game. There are many bright colors and street graffiti. It is a fun game. And it also has complexity and length attached to it.

The director of the game is Takayuki Nakayama. There are multiple ports of entry. There are three main modes: World Tour, Battle Hub, and Fighting Ground.
The first one is a single-player mode. It is directed towards immersing players into the world of Street Fighter 6. But there would be no opponents. This mode will allow the players to take their time. They can create a character. They can explore the sandbox-style arenas of the World Tour. They can learn how to make moves. They can see their utility at their own level. They can improve their fighting skills. Players can spend their whole time in this mode too. It will come to them as a single-player experience. World Tour gives important lessons like fights and clever mini-games.

There is a new technique- the Drive System. There are 5 techniques in the Drive System. These can be used to improve your offense or defense:
Drive Impact: It is a powerful technique that can absorb an incoming attack. It can lead to a wall splat.
Drive Parry- In this technique, you can ward off your opponent’s attack. You can refill your Drive Gauge.
Drive Rush- In this technique, you can quickly close in on your opponent. This technique can be canceled into from a Drive Parry or normal attack.
Overdrive Arts- This technique is similar to EX moves which were there in past games. It energizes your Special Moves.
Drive Rehearsal-In this technique, you can perform a counterattack to free yourself from a difficult situation.
This game will use the classic 6-button control scheme. This is called the Classic Control Type. But this will also have the Modern Control Type. There will be a Super Smash Bros. style special move button. It can be used to drive through one direction and one button input.
